Rustic mirror
Part of the appeal of a rustic cabin, ranch, farmhouse, or lodge is the ubiquitous use of natural materials, which would include stone, water features, foliage and flowers, and most importantly natural woods such as the type found in our diverse selection of individually artisan made rustic mirrors. For anyone that isn't a vampire, the liberal use of mirrors can go a long way to make room appear larger and add a homey and almost nostalgic look to a room that prior to installing rustic wood mirrors might have seemed ordinary and plain.
Rustic wood mirrors
To make certain your rustic mirror is appropriately proportioned for your room it is a good idea to make note of the dimensions and then mark out the corners on the wall. Stand back to where you can get a good perspective and ask yourself whether those dimensions feel correct. If it is absolutely necessary to have a dimension that is not one of our standard sizes please feel free to call us. It is quite possible that we might be able to accommodate your custom size.
Typically, our rustic wood mirrors are constructed of the highest quality quartersawn white oak and stained in a finish that is appropriate for cabin or lodge, or also craftsman homes. If your preference runs more towards mahogany or cherry we can almost certainly help you out. The Saranac lake model comes standard in mahogany. The Dawson mirror is a good example of what a stained white oak rustic mirror looks like.
Another rustic mirror worth considering is a steel one with one of several attractive finishes and rustic motifs such as gingko leaves, pine needles and cones, moose, bear, or fly fishing.
All our mirrors are made in America.
